Help us bring Hope and opportunity to the poor in North India.
The Potter's Hands exists to strengthen and unify the global church by helping the poor and providing community development opportunities. One area we are working in is Bihar, India. There is no welfare or foster care system to care for the poor and orphans here. It is up to God's people. We helped to establish our North Indian church family as Lost Sparrow Ministries to support their community by rescuing orphans begging in the streets and bringing them into safety at Lost Sparrow Children's Home in Pun Pun, Bihar. Here in Pun Pun, we also help provide education for these orphans and other slum children through our Christian school. The Lost Sparrow team provides self-sustainable business start-ups for the poor, water-well installation, food distribution programs, widow support systems, livestock breeding programs, blanket and bible distribution, an inner-city sewing center to help women off the streets, pastoral training and sharing of the gospel in remote villages, support for emerging house fellowships, and more.
